About this Position

The Producer position oversees all production aspects of assigned video and audio projects including planning, coordinating and implementing technical and non-technical aspects. Executive producer will direct field shoots or in-studio shoots; ability to produce LIVE meetings and workshop events a necessity This position works closely with our writers, editors, department management, content experts, company executives and outside vendors to ensure goals and objectives are being met through videos and materials.

This is a hybrid position.

Estimated salary range for this role is: 80K-90K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Producing Multimedia Projects: Counsel outside department contacts on video production process in order to meet the assigned project. Develop a concept & convey this through the entire production process with clear communication (to writers, editors, motion graphic artists, and client/manager). This includes the necessary knowledge of video production, imaginative skills to generate ideas, knowledge of production and post-production workflows, and an adherence to industry quality standards.

Producing Live Events/Broadcasts: Perform producer/director responsibilites for live events and broadcasts: Organize all elements required for event, convey details to crew, and entertain audiences with a professional and beneficial experience. Strong ability to make decisions/act under high pressure environment required. As liaison between field representatives, home office employees/crew, and outside vendors, communication skills are a must.

Adhering to Workflows and Guidelines: Adhere to established workflows and guidelines to maintain team-wide consistency and professionalism, and all audit requirements met. This includes following workflow documents and templates, and being able to decide which workflow paths are most appropriate for their projects. This also requires having a strong attention to detail for correct spelling and formatting, collaboration with outside compliance and client input. 

Organization and Communication: Take initiative to look ahead and prepare for upcoming projects, as well as look behind and tie up any loose ends from completed projects as they follow all organizational and audit routines necessary for the department. Strong ability to multitask/prioritize required, in addition to clear communication with manager, editors, other team members from one project to the next.

Other Roles/Optional Certification: Producers may also fill the role of segment producer, graphics operator, writer, floor director, director as needed for on-location events or LIVE broadcasts. Within the Training & Development team, additional licenses and certifications may be beneficial as a 'content expert' for instructional design purposes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in film production, communications, theater, business administration/management, or similar a field. 
  • Years experience: 6 - 10 years experience in Corporate Communications, TV or Video Production. Writing experience and on-location production preferred.
  • Ability to produce training video content, Long and short format
  • Excellent time management
  • Creativity and strong story-telling Skills required
  • Script writing,
  • Ability to supervise crew and talent
  • Understanding of technical production terms
  • Excellent problem solving and judgement skills
  • Handle multiple projects at once with tight deadlines
  • Microsoft office, Adobe Suite (General Knowledge), Cat DV, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Marketing and/or Financial Services
  • Spanish/French Language
  • FileMaker, eLogic/SuccessCE
