Job Summary This position is responsible for overseeing our Equipment Department in the Central region at Senergy Petroleum LLC. As the Equipment Manager you will be responsible for the safety, accountability and performance of your team. The Equipment Department is responsible for preparation of petroleum dispensing equipment to be placed out in the field. As the Manager you will be responsible for the inventory management, process management, quality control and equipment maintenance for the Central Region. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-
Management Functions to include:
- Identify and on-board qualified candidates to be a part of the Equipment Team.
- Train and lead team members in best practices identified by Senergy Petroleum.
- Coach, develop and mentor team members to ensure accountability to company standards.
- Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of timecards, PTO approval and submission of other payroll related functions
- Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity.
- Maintain necessary schedules in order to meet the equipment demands for the region.
- Project Management proficiency with the ability to meet deadlines for the sales and operations teams.
- Ability to maintain and store Equipment Department inventory and related items.
- Cleaning and reconditioning tanks as applicable.
- Assist as directed in the upkeep of company equipment such as nozzles, hoses, cam locks, pumps and meters.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for inventory tracking, customer billing, and service calls.
- Provide customers with high quality tanks, pumps, meters, hoses and nozzles in a timely manner.
- Continuous cleaning of the work area, to include but not limited to petroleum product drips and minor spills.
- Ability to maintain Senergy Petroleum's Tank Standards to be placed out in the field.
- Experience with tank monitoring equipment and maintenance to include Skybitz and Centeron tank monitors.
- Ability to solve problems safely and effectively.
- Report spills, accidents, injuries through the proper channels and participate in root cause analysis as needed.
- Maintain and interpret Key Performance Indicators as assigned.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of accurate data input
- Must be mechanically inclined, with an expertise in minor repair of lubricant, fuel and tank monitoring equipment
- Experienced in design, specifications and maintenance of delivery fleet
- Proficient in FMCSA compliance
- Must be familiar with Spills Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
- Maintain a working knowledge of Senergy's product and services offerings.
- Safe operation of light duty vehicles including Forklifts
- Service Technicians
- Typically work is performed in an office and field setting.
- Frequent work around equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
- Frequent work in dusty, wet, dirty environments and exposure to fuel and fuel fumes.
- Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to move about office setting to complete responsibilities.
- Frequent use of phone, computer, and office equipment.
- Able to move freely around work and customer sites.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, squat, and stoop.
- Ability to climb and work around machinery and heavy equipment in a safe manner
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Must be mechanically inclined with knowledge of Petroleum Dispensing Equipment to include tanks, pumps, hoses, nozzles and other related equipment items.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.

- Able to effectively multitask with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently.
- Strong business acumen.
- Must be familiar with EPA and DEQ Pollution Prevention programs.
- Must be familiar with Spills Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
- Must have a working knowledge of facility maintenance and fire suppression equipment and alarms.
- Must be familiar with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- Four or more years experience in transportation, lubricants, fuel, or a related industry.
