JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Tech Lead a talented and motivated PL SQL Developer to join our team.
Associate will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Lead and mentor a small team of software developers
Oversee the development of data pipelines and backend services using Python and Snowflake
Craft efficient, maintainable PL/SQL queries and stored procedures
Collaborate closely with architects and stakeholders to design robust, scalable systems
Pitch innovative ideas and champion best practices in system architecture and software design
Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and resolve technical roadblocks
Drive the team toward continuous improvement and agile execution
Strong agile/scrum development experience, experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results
Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams
Associate will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.
In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes.
Associate will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Associate will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.

QUALIFICATION

Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

EXPERIENCE

8+ years of professional experience in software/data engineering.
Experience in PL/SQL Development, Snowflake Dev, SQL / Python technologies.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Deep expertise in Python, Snowflake, and PL/SQL
Proven leadership in managing and mentoring engineering teams
Strong architectural mindset with the ability to present and defend your solutions
Experience working in agile environments and CI/CD workflows
Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams and influence decision-making
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders
Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice
Experience in PL/SQL Development, Snowflake Dev, SQL / Python technologies
Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.
Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.
Should have strong understanding on how to write Unit test cases.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.
Prior involvement in enterprise-level data engineering initiatives
