JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education is seeking to hire part-time instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Educational Psychology, Counselor Education, School Psychology, Rehabilitation Human Services, and Special Education.

Required qualifications include evidence of an earned Doctorate or Master's degree, a commitment to excellence in teaching, including use of current technology, evidence of a commitment to working collegially and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as need arises throughout the academic year. The positions are dependent on class enrollments, low enrollments may necessitate canceling the class and position.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
