Responsible for preparing/reviewing Fund Administration related tasks (Treasury Services) - Expense Administration involving Budgets and Invoice preparation, Expense Analysis, New Fund/Client Onboarding, Distributions, Performance and Regulatory/Board Reporting.
What you will be responsible for:
As an AVP you will:
· Plan and manage day-to-day deliverables and ensure completion as per agreed KPI/KRA.
· Manage operational issues and client escalations, ensure Teams are providing timely responses to inquiries as stated in the Service Level Agreement.
· Have executive presence by managing with influence and effective communication across stakeholder groups both regionally and globally.
· Understand risk at the operational level and comply with the risk escalation chain including timely notification of issues. Escalate issues and Client escalations/feedback timely to VP.
· Embed risk excellence culture across the teams.
· Exposure to latest technologies in industry and drive automations.
· Dual Role – SME and Team Management. Manage large team and multiple clients.
· Ensure effective use of automation by fully utilizing internal Applications, and standard macros; make recommendations for technology and process improvements.
· Encourage and drive a culture of change and ideation.
· Commercial acumen - Understanding of cost/budgets. Lead/drive the same.
· Client facing role. To be face of the client with an executive presence and lead Client Due-Diligence meetings.
· Ensures all controls/checklists and procedures are adhered to as well as makes recommendations for improvement.
· Implement all standard practices, processes, tools, and technology enhancements.
· Comply with internal, client specific and Standard Operating Procedures.
· Taking accountability of end-to-end outcomes as an enterprise, collaborating across functions/business and locations.
· Ability to initiate, effectively manage and improve relationships, both within the company and with peers in the industry and current/prospective clients.
· To become an essential partner with our clients – trusted, strategic and proactive. Lead client meetings and discussions as needed.
· Ability to lead a large team, identify & develop talent.
· Lead by example and hold team accountable to culture traits.
· Provide feedback on decisions to hire, discipline, determine promotions, and terminate employment.
· Drive pay for performance and culture of performance differentiation.
· Perform other duties as required by VP or Unit Head.

· Achieve productivity targets. Reduce loss associated with operational error
· Timeliness and accuracy of all assigned deliverables as per agreed Service Agreement.
· Adherence to best practices, SOPs, client specific procedures, and SLAs.
· Lead process improvement efforts.
· Comply with State Street risk program and timely completion of related training for self and team
· Adhere to State Street policies, guidelines and relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Skill Sets:
· 8+ Years of experience in Fund Accounting Domain.
· Excellent understanding of financial services and investment products
· Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
· Detail-oriented, owner’s mindset, logical thinking.
· Problem Solving & Analytical Skills.
· Strong personnel management skills and prior experience in a supervisory capacity with responsibility for coaching and development of direct reports.
· Ability to work on MS Office (Excel, Word and PPT)
Additional Skill Sets:
· Good understanding of financial services and investment products.
· Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably with fund accounting, audit firm or a financial services organization.
· Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and industry deadlines.
· Ability to perform under pressure.
· Committed to learn technical aspects of each deliverable.
· Ability to communicate with various internal teams to resolve queries and escalate accordingly.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
· Demonstrates an ability to be a leader within their team, as well as be a leader amongst your peers.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
· MBA or graduate degree preferred, bachelor’s degree in commerce / economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or another Financial-related program.
· 10+ years of experience in related accounting or finance field preferred
