What you’ll do:
The Head of Logistics, EMEA and APAC will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the long-term fulfillment strategy for the EMEA and APAC regions. This strategic leader will oversee the transition of logistics operations from Stockholm and lead the launch of new fulfillment and logistics hubs in Germany and Australia. The role is responsible for scaling operations and optimizing key performance metrics to drive improvements in quality, speed, and efficiency. A strong focus on strategic alignment is essential, as this position plays a central role in decentralizing Stockholm’s logistics capacity, building scalable infrastructure, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service across international markets.
Your days will be filled with:
- Lead the design and execution of a multi-year fulfillment strategy for EMEA, APAC, and ROW.
- Oversee the logistics transition in Stockholm and the launch of new sites in Germany and Australia.
- Optimize performance metrics: on-time delivery in full, devices shipped per FTE, freight cost per device, fulfillment speed, and repair turnaround time.
- Improve productivity and reduce cost per device.
- Orchestrate the decentralization of Stockholm's logistics load.
- Build scalable, regionally responsive fulfillment hubs.
- Lead fulfillment and logistics teams to drive excellence in quality, cost, and service efficiency, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Align with the North American team to ensure consistency in best practices, service levels, systems, efficiency improvements, and KPIs globally.
- Actively contribute to the Senior Leadership Team by shaping strategic decisions, driving cross-functional alignment, and representing fulfillment operations in global forums.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and regulatory developments in logistics and fulfillment; proactively share relevant insights and best practices across regions and teams.
- Foster a high-performance culture by coaching and developing regional managers and team members, enabling professional growth, succession readiness, and leadership capacity within the organization.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master degree a plus.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple regions.
- Extensive experience in managing and optimizing operations within a multi-national distribution environment, ensuring seamless coordination across global logistics, warehouses, and transportation networks. Focus within Europe markets are preferred.
- Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is preferred.
- Microsoft Office 365 tools: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams,
- Proficiency in ERP, logistics software and tools.
- Application of AI tools a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Proven track record of improving productivity and reducing costs in logistics operations.
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing market needs and conditions.
- Ability to work within office and warehouse settings.
