SummarySport Coordinators are the heart of the i9 Sports game-day experience, responsible for managing the flow of their assigned sport from setup to final whistle. You will lead instructional programs, officiate games, and support volunteer coaches while ensuring safety, program quality, and family satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned sports’ setup, warm-ups, and game flow.
  • Lead instructional drills, camps, and clinics.
  • Officiate games (training provided) to maintain fairness, safety, and fun.
  • Support and mentor volunteer coaches in executing practice plans.
  • Monitor player safety, game rules, and program quality.
  • Assist with equipment setup/breakdown and inventory tracking.
  • Flex across roles as needed, including serving as a coach, referee for other sports, or assisting with site operations.

Qualifications
  • Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic about working with youth.
  • Strong communication skills with players, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to manage time and activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic rules for the sport(s) assigned (training provided).
  • Previous sports, coaching, or youth program experience preferred.
Requirements
  • Available weekends and occasional evenings.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
  • Ability to lift and carry sports equipment.
  • Commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
Schedule & Availability Primarily weekends; occasional weekday camps, clinics, or after-school sessions.
