About the role:
The Recruitment Coordinator will coordinate the recruitment process across the organisation, working with key stakeholders. They will ensure efficiency and compliance of the end-to-end employee lifecycle within the recruitment process, attracting and retaining top talent.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate the end of end recruitment cycle, including engaging in proactive recruitment methods. This includes supporting requests and approvals for recruitment, placement of advertisements, reference checking and generating employment contracts.
- Managing and streamlining the recruitment process, ensuring that the hiring process is efficient and effective.
- Providing essential support to hiring managers by assisting them to identify and attract qualified candidates and guiding them through the process.
- Act as a primary contact for candidates, providing them with timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Facilitate new starter induction sessions for employees
- Tracking and reporting on various metrics, including identifying trends and areas of improvement of different recruitment strategies.
- Provide end-user support for HR systems.
- Conduct checks for eLearning completions, police checks, WWC & driver license verifications and update compliance/onboarding records accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with HR-related laws and regulations, guided by the People Experience Partner.
- Assist in HR systems-related projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Provide support for end-to-end coordination of internal programs and processes including assisting with any development, delivery and evaluation e.g. recognition programs, learning and development programs, performance and development cycle activities, engagement surveys, annual remuneration review
- In partnership with the internal payroll team, provide support for the accuracy of the fortnightly payroll and ensure documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
- Manage the collation and reporting of the information including exit interview processes and references.
About you
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications, such as business and/ or human resources or equivalent demonstrated relevant experience.
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Coordinator or in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of, and ability to apply, Modern Awards and Industrial Relations legislation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing HR correspondence, as well as presenting to an audience.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop ongoing relationships/partnerships with key stakeholders to support achievement of objectives both external and internal to the organisation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work equally effectively in team environments as well as on tasks which require high levels of initiative, autonomy and independent action.
Desirable:
- Experience in LinkedIn, Seek and EthicalJobs.
- Experience in system integration and HRIS management.
- Experience in using a range of HRIS solutions Employment Hero, CultureAmp and Go1.
