Do you want to join our fantastic team and be part of growing the Swedish footprint and presence in Kenya and Eastern Africa? Then we might have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently looking for an Associate to join our team in Nairobi.

The office in Nairobi drives large promotion projects within Transport, Energy & Healthcare as well as private assignment for small and large companies. The projects include market analysis, stakeholder analysis and engagement, market entry and growth strategies, and similar. The variety of assignments and the high level of responsibility make the work truly dynamic and challenging.

From our location in Kenya, we also cover the East African Region.

The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

  • Collecting, analysing, and presenting information and insights, which you will get from interactions with external stakeholders on the market.
  • Supporting senior colleagues in sales dialogues, by insight-driven development of new business opportunities as well as prospecting.
  • Preparing and organizing promotion events, round table discussions and B2B and B2G meetings for Swedish companies.
  • Support in our collaboration with Team Sweden in the countries we operate in, to provide support and business promotion platforms for Swedish companies.
  • Provide support in various business operations activities.

Formal requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master of science in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
  • Recent university degree or 1-2 years of relevant working experience e.g. consulting, business development, internationalisation, government affairs or trade and development.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Local market experience from studies or work
  • High level of proficiency in English and Kiswahili
  • Experience from living/working in other parts of the world is a merit.
  • Legally authorised to work in Kenya
