You’ll be the voice of AI21 to the developer world — inspiring builders, amplifying their successes, and ensuring their feedback shapes our roadmap. This is a strategic, high-impact role for someone who can blend hands-on technical skills with the ability to energize and grow a global developer community.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead developer engagement: Build, grow, and energize the AI21 developer community both locally in the Bay Area and globally.
Champion product adoption: Design and execute impactful launch strategies for new tools, APIs, and features.
Create content that resonates: Produce high-quality technical demos, tutorials, sample apps, and developer-related thought-leadership pieces.
Be the face of AI21 in the ecosystem: Represent us at hackathons, meetups, conferences, and online forums.
Close the feedback loop: Gather and synthesize developer insights to influence product direction and strategy.
Amplify our presence: Manage developer-focused social channels, newsletters, and partner collaborations.

Requirements

3+ years in Developer Relations, Advocacy, or similar technical outreach roles.
Strong coding ability (Python preferred) and experience building with APIs or AI technologies.
Experience working with LLMs, GenAI APIs, or AI-first product development.
Proven track record of community building and public speaking.
Strong online presence or ability to quickly establish one.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex tech into compelling narratives.
Based in or highly active within the Bay Area’s developer/AI ecosystem.
The role is based in Silicon Valley/Bay Area

The pay range for this position is $140K to 200K per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
