About The Role

Collaborate in defining the sales strategy, business plans and financial forecasts for the sector which he/she is specialised in Maximize profitability with clients through the appropriate pricing of new business wins, product extensions, and cross-selling other BBVA products.

In partnership with other CIB units (product, risk...), drive the execution of the sales strategy, to achieve new business sales objectives, maintain current revenue streams, expand market share and increase the share of wallet with target clients. Collaborate with the Industry/Global/Local Banker in the commercial management, begin to build long-term external relationships and manage accounts:

• Understand clients' needs and strategic decisions.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities with existing or prospective clients.
• Visit/call clients proactively, providing a global coverage and acting as a link between BBVA and the client Develop and manage a pipeline of potential and probable new business wins, documenting status and assumptions throughout the sales process Register, monitor, modify and update customers' activity, profitability and business opportunities in the in-house client management tools (Global Desktop).
• Stay abreast of national and international news that may affect his/her scope of responsibility.
• 6-9 years of experience in similar roles.
• Languages: fluent in both English and Spanish would be ideal.
• Developed skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
