We are currently looking to recruit two Analytics & Reporting Specialist to join our Business Intelligence team based in London or Glasgow. The role will support the delivery of analytical solutions (i.e., dashboarding, data storytelling, machine learning) for the Finance and People departments at Heathrow. This is a great role to further develop your existing Oracle data visualisation skills in a complex organisation, within a team that will provide support and development to grow your career.  

  • Building and maintaining analytical products (i.e., reports and dashboards) in line with requirements, best practices, and approved tools.
  • Supporting the business community in the learning of the self-serve tool Fusion Analytics.
  • Being an active member of the analytics community at Heathrow, gathering and championing best practices; working to improve themselves and their team through the exploration of new technologies and processes.
  • Designing metrics, simplifying data querying and visualising insights, maintaining data updates and quality assuring work to Heathrow standards.
  • Ensuring high quality analysis and supporting documentation is delivered to support change/process initiatives, project requirements, timescales, and budgets.
  • Combining datasets to drive meaningful outputs including ad-hoc deep dive analytics and qualitative & quantitative analysis. 
  • Knowledge in Data Visualisation, Data Wrangling, Data Storytelling.
  • Experience in data modelling and Oracle SQL developer.
  • A demonstrated commitment to quality deliverables with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data to analytical and non-analytical audiences.
  • Experience in agile delivery.

Working location

Your contractual place of work will either be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow, or Heathrow in London so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work.  

We also have some hybrid roles which offer the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow.  Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
