The role involves leading and delivering high-quality financial due diligence (FDD) projects, analyzing both financial and non-financial information in alignment with clients’ value creation and investment hypotheses. The Manager will prepare due diligence reports, communicate findings via a cloud-based platform, and support corporate and private equity clients in making informed deal-related decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence & Analysis
- Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side FDD projects independently, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze complex financial data, perform EBITDA analysis, and identify key business drivers and potential deal breakers.
- Prepare clear, concise, and insightful financial due diligence reports.
- Provide expert reviews on project outputs, ensuring accuracy, logical reasoning, and clarity in communication.
Project Leadership & Client Management
- Guide and mentor team members, setting priorities, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Manage multiple medium to large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining service excellence.
- Act as the primary client contact, providing commercial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity and corporate clients, particularly within the Indian market.
Operational & Quality Management
- Develop assignment budgets, timelines, and manage delivery against agreed targets.
- Ensure adherence to FDD workflow protocols, risk management processes, and quality standards.
- Identify and implement best practices for efficiency and improved service delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for capacity planning, recruitment, and competency mapping.
Data-Driven Insights & Tools
- Use advanced Excel skills, data analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI) to drive insights.
- Translate raw data into actionable recommendations for client decision-making.
- Contribute to market research, deal trend analysis, and strategic project inputs.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- CA / MBA qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence within consulting, preferably Big 4 or top-tier advisory firms.
- Proven client-facing experience in the Indian market with corporate and private equity clients.
- Experience across sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Mining & Infrastructure; Financial Services; Healthcare & Pharma; Industrial Manufacturing; Retail & Consumer; Real Estate; or Technology, Media & Telecommunications.
Technical Competencies
- Strong FDD core skills, including buy-side and sell-side deal experience.
- Expertise in EBITDA analysis and identification of key financial and operational drivers.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling), report writing, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Alteryx).
