Responsible for thermal design, simulation analysis and test validation for radio products.
- To carry out thermal analysis at system level, board level, and component level with minimal to no support.
- To evaluate the CFD results using the heat transfer and thermodynamic principles, in conjunction with thorough comparison against analytical results.
- To review thermal setup and validate the CFD results with results from the tests carried out on manufactured products in experimental testing.
- To prepare technical reports and presentations with simulation plots, suggestions and recommendations.
- To contribute towards ongoing internal research activities.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Thermodynamic Engineering or related.
- Foundational knowledge of heat transfer theories and basic CFD application for passive/air-cooled designs.
- Familiarity with thermal measurement tools (temperature data logger, IR camera, air chamber, air speed meter).
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge of CFD tools.
- Self-motivated, quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with openness to new ideas and approaches.
Please note that this role is located in Oulu, Finland. We are not offering relocation for this position.
