This is a 10-day posting, which will close on August 26, 2025 at 11:59pm.   Position Overview: The Director of Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Operations will serve in a leadership role within the Division of District Talent Systems, overseeing the operational strategy and execution of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) - a statewide initiative designed to recognize and reward highly effective educators across Texas. This position is responsible for driving the success of TIA through comprehensive program management, robust data strategy, strategic communications planning, and effective contract oversight. The Director will lead cross-functional efforts to ensure the seamless implementation and continuous improvement of TIA and Enhanced TIA, supporting districts, Education Service Centers (ESCs), and external partners in building sustainable, high-impact teacher designation systems.   Key responsibilities include: • Leading the end-to-end management of TIA operations, ensuring alignment with state goals, timelines, and performance metrics. • Developing and executing a data strategy that informs decision-making, enhances transparency, and supports continuous improvement across all TIA components. • Oversee a communications strategy that effectively engages internal and external stakeholders, including district leaders, educators, and policymakers. • Overseeing contracts and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery, fiscal accountability, and alignment with program objectives.   The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and operational leader with a strong background in education policy, program implementation, and collaboration. You may perform other functions as assigned.   1. Operational Oversight: Lead the strategic planning and execution of TIA operations, ensuring alignment with statewide goals and timelines. Oversee cross-functional coordination across internal teams, ESCs, and district partners to ensure timely implementation, continuous improvement, and high-quality program delivery. 2. TIA Data Strategy: Manage a comprehensive data strategy to support TIA program and systems, performance tracking, and continuous improvement. Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key indicators and ensure data integrity across systems to inform decision-making and stakeholder reporting. 3. Communications Strategy: Oversee and support a communications strategy to engage internal and external stakeholders, including ESCs, districts, and educators. 4. Team Management: Manage, coach and support the local designation system implementation team to provide appropriate professional growth and development in their efforts to provide technical assistance to districts, ESCs and TAPs.  

 

Qualifications
