Global Business Integration (GBI) is an organization dedicated to supporting and integrating business change into GTLS through change execution, project management and risk mitigation.

How will you make an impact in this role?

In this role, you will play a critical part in establishing a strong foundation for GTLS’s Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) within the enterprise Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework. You will help define and document end-to-end processes, support risk identification and control mapping, and ensure alignment with enterprise risk policies and regulatory obligations.

You’ll partner closely with GTLS teams and collaborate with business units within and outside of Global Servicing (GS) to drive process governance, embed operational resilience, and strengthen risk ownership. Additionally, you’ll support Project Guardian and other enterprise initiatives focused on risk mitigation and control transformation.

  • Lead process mapping and documentation activities across key GTLS functions, ensuring visibility into workflows, risks, and controls
  • Perform in-depth qualitative & quantitative assessment of existing GTLS processes & sub-processes
  • Review and assess current processes for control gaps, compliance issues, and inefficiencies, and support remediation planning
  • Be able to identify opportunities within the existing PRSA control framework and recommend new control frameworks for GTLS functions’ related RCSAs
  • Drive process governance by implementing standards, ownership models, version control, and change management protocols
  • Monitor progress against program deadlines; managing several tasks simultaneously and assisting with creating reports & dashboards providing progress, analytical trends with emerging risks/challenges etc. for leadership review and decision making
  • Provide support for strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects, including responses to stakeholders, audit and regulatory requests
  • Be able to effectively collaborate with multiple partners across various business units, cross-functional & cross-geographical teams to deliver results
  • Provide end-to-end Project Management support for the implementation of global risk initiatives impacting our servicing organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in GSG, Control Management and/or GTLS servicing
  • Proven ability to map and document complex business processes using tools such as Visio
  • Strong Project management, time management and workload prioritization skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in evolving risk environments
  • Proven expertise in premium card products, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Superior, detail-oriented verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively influence and communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in GTLS and/or Centurion Product and Operations
  • Strong understanding of process governance, internal control design, and risk mitigation practices.
  • Familiarity with Operational Risk Management (ORM) frameworks and related regulatory expectations.
  • Experience supporting or implementing Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) or similar enterprise risk frameworks.
  • Six Sigma, PMP, Agile certification preferred

Temporary Work Assignment (up to 12 months)

Minimum Qualifications

 

Salary Range: AXP employees will maintain their current salary and be eligible for a completion bonus at the end of the temporary work assignment.  The completion bonus is up to 5% base salary for laterals in band and up to 10% base salary for stretch assignments. The completion bonus amount will also be pro-rated to reflect the length of the assignment.
