Job Description
What You Will Do at ODM:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced financial professional to manage aspects of our Advanced Planning Document (APD) process. As Manager over the APD Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the preparation and submission of APDs on behalf of ODM
- Working closely with the APD team, stakeholders from ODM and other state agencies to manage the collection of APD requirements and creation of personnel and contract budgets
- Manage the development tools to track the budgets against the actual claim
- Act as one of the APD Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance on the allowability of enhanced federal funding and the process for obtaining it
- Act as one of ODM's liaison with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding APD topics, providing updates to CMS on agency activities and providing updates to ODM on CMS direction.

Qualifications
66 mos. exp. or 66 mos. trg. financial administration.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 42 mos. exp. or 42 mos. trg. in financial administration.
-Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in financial administration.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Program Manager, 66585.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
