Oracle Integration OIC – Consultant
An Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) consultant designs, develops, and implements integration solutions using OIC to connect various enterprise applications and systems. They work with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and improve data flow. This role requires expertise in OIC adapters, error handling, mapping, and integration patterns.
Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Integrations:
Create integration flows (e.g., REST, SOAP, FTP) within OIC to connect Oracle Fusion applications with third-party or on-premise systems.
Data Integration:
Handle B2B integrations, file-based data integrations (FBDI), and Application Composer customizations.
Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Testing and Deployment:
Test and deploy integrations, ensuring data integrity and system stability.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud including making REST and SOAP calls and FBDI File Uploads.
- Design and develop integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud including extracting Oracle ERP Cloud data using BIPublsiher reports, analysis, and OTBI Reports.
- Design and develop customizations using Visual Builder and Process Builder in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented Oracle ERP Cloud modules.
- Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented customizations using Visual Builder and Process Builder in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Gather and document business requirements on IT incidents and change work.
- Document and manage technical specifications and software packages.
- Manage on-time changes delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction.
- Provide hands-on analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM).
- Complete development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices.
Experience & Background
- BE/ B. Tech / M Tech/ MBA/ MCA
- 6-8 years of IT experience
- Must have at least worked on 1 – 2 support projects.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible with Shift based on project requirements.
- To design/configure platform/function enhancements & client-specific custom components including impact assessment, fit-gap analysis, performance impact & value outcome.
- To resolve high complexity Workday tickets
- To troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues reported.
- To be responsible for meaningful client communications from the team
- To contribute across clients and/or geographies in a shared resourcing model
Required Skills:
- Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle E-Business support experience.
- Oracle ERP and HCM integration delivery using Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Experience with system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud).
- Experience building integration in OIC using REST/SOAP Services.
- Experience building integrations in OIC, building and Uploading FBDI Files to Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Knowledge of Oracle Interface tables in financial and procurement modules.
- Hands-On Experience of XSLT.
- Hands-On Experience in data migration/integration methods i. e. SOAP and Rest Web Services, FBDI, and ADF DI.
- Hands-On Experience with reporting tools such as OTBI, and BI Publisher.
- Hands-On development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST using ORDS.
- Good Knowledge of building custom ESS jobs.
- Hands-on with development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC.
- Hands-on with development and unit testing of VBCS components using OIC.
- Knowledge of Oracle R11i/12 ideal with functional knowledge of core Oracle EBS Modules including Financials and procurement.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle development tools, some e-Business application functionality, system administration, database structure, online patching, and knowledge of multi-Org architecture.
Technical requirements:
- Mandatory: FBDI files, OTBI Reports, BIP Analysis, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Script, XML Publisher, JDeveloper, and Java core skills.
- Advantage: Oracle BI Publisher, Web Adi, APEX.
- Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions.
- Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system customizations.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize across concurrent workloads may be required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
