Part-Time Supervisor - Bath

Piglet in Bed UK

Office

Bath, United Kingdom

Part Time

At Piglet in Bed, we're on a mission to become the home of long-lasting, natural comfort. Dreamt up in 2017 from our Founder Jess’ Mother’s garden shed in West Sussex, Piglet in Bed began with a simple idea: the best homes aren’t perfect, they’re personal. What started as a small collection of linen bedding has grown to include new fabrics and unmistakably ‘Piglet’ designs, complemented by our curated selection of sleepwear and homewares. But one thing hasn’t changed: our focus on the incredible team who make Piglet happen. As our team grows, we still like to keep the calendar full of socials, competitions, and chances to see each other. Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, so we're very excited that you're considering joining us!

Role: Supervisor

Location: Bath

Hours: Part-time, but must be available to work Saturdays

Hourly rate: £13.85 per hour

What you'll be getting up to:

  • You’ll ensure all minimum brand standards are achieved as well as creating a welcoming customer experience. You’ll empower others to do this too.
  • Communication is integral to this role; you’ll be liaising both with our Retail team, and with teams across the business to ensure a first class customer experience. You'll be empowered to share updates and insights to the team at Piglet, who will be championing your work.

  • You’ll become an expert on our product range, engaging with shoppers to answer queries, give advice and share inspiration. You’ll familarise yourself with the brand story and deliver consistently on brand guidelines.

  • You’ll embody the Piglet brand, and make our customers feel at home within our concessions, and excited to become part of our community.
  • You’ll be responsible for spotting trends and driving continuous improvements; helping us learn more about our in store shoppers, and adapt accordingly.

  • You’ll be responsible for our physical space; both delivering on brand visual guidelines and ensuring cleanliness and health and safety requirements are met.

  • You’ll maximise sales and drive profitability through innovative ideas and practises.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ll need to be a real people person; the kind to put a smile on shoppers’ faces, even if they don’t make a purchase.
  • You’ll need to be self motivated; a great deal of this role will be working independently.

  • Communication is essential in this role, as a distributed team, we need to ensure information and ideas are free flowing.

  • You’ll need to be passionate. You don't need to join us with an in depth knowledge of the brand or homeware; we'll teach you everything, as long as you're eager to learn.

  • You'll need to be creative. You’ll have a front row seat to spot trends amongst our in store shoppers; both who they are (or aren’t!) and how they shop, and you’re likely to be best placed to share ideas on what we could do better.

What it’s like to work at Piglet in Bed:
  • You’ll receive 50% discount on our products, alongside extra gifts on your birthday and anniversaries.
  • A quarterly bonus scheme, subject to your store meeting their targets.
  • You’ll get access to our high street voucher discount platform, as well as our EAP programme offering private GP appointments and counselling.
  • You’ll be eligible for life assurance at 1x salary.
  • You’ll get 33 days holiday per year (pro rata if applicable), with minimal restrictions on when you can use it (and we’ll make sure everyone gets a fair break at Christmas!

If this sounds like the role for you, apply now by submitting your CV. Your personality is way more important to us than perfect grammar, so please consider not using AI in your application - we just want to get to know the authentic you!
