The role

What will you be doing?

Senior Financial Accountant

Hybrid - Dorking 3 days a week (Flex to use London office one day per week)

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a hands-on accounting role with a focus on managing the period-end close process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supporting senior stakeholders with high-quality financial insight.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to consolidate and interpret financial information, you will also play a key role in supporting and coaching part-qualified team members.

What will you bring?

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and coordinating the monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple accounting bases.
Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Consolidating financial data and preparing clear, concise summaries for senior management.
Supporting the delivery of audit requirements and maintaining robust financial controls.
Coaching and mentoring junior team members to build capability and ensure high standards.
Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes.

About you:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent) with several years post-qualification experience.
Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of period-end processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Confident communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
Collaborative team player
Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential
