We are currently looking for a Director of Memory Care for The Blake at Miramar Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Director of Memory Care:

• Successfully oversees and implements the memory care activity calendar daily.
• Assesses potential residents for admission.
• Coordinates all aspects of memory care residents with the dietary department, marketing department, wellness department and maintenance department. Works with the Director of Wellness to ensure adequate staff are available to assist Memory Care residents. 
• Develops a monthly Memory Care calendar that provides opportunities for residents to socialize and enjoy recreational activities each day, including weekends.
• Maintains documentation on each resident’s daily activities.  Interacts with family daily.
• Ensures that Memory Care Program is implemented for each resident at the time of admission. 
• Must have a caring heart.
• 5 years of experience working with the senior population, preferably with memory impaired residents and in a long-term care and/or health care setting.   
• LPN or RN degree licensed in Florida required
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Must have and maintain a safe driving record.  
• Must be able to take call and work some weekends and holidays
