Now Hiring: Diesel Mechanic II (Evening Shift)

Location: Elk River, MN
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Pay Range: $30-$32+ Shift Differential, DOQ
Evening Shift: Full time shift: 3:30pm-12am, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime.

Part-time shift: 20-30 hours a week.

Plaisted Companies is seeking a skilled, heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic to join our evening shift team. If you have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and are looking for a stable, rewarding career, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment
Perform routine services like oil changes, brake repairs, and tire maintenance
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
Perform test drives and service calls for emergency breakdowns as needed.
Keep maintenance records and work in a clean, organized environment

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Minimum 3 years as a diesel mechanic

Certifications: AAS Diesel Technician
Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
License: CDL (preferred but not required)
Availability: Must be available to work evenings and occasional overtime

Requirements

Able to pass a 5 Panel Drug Test (urinalysis)

Able to pass a back and extremity medical exam

Own your own tools

*Prior Diesel Mechanic experience is required*
