Requirements
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Aftermarket Quality Coordinator is responsible for collecting, organizing, processing, assisting customers, and reporting on issues as they pertain to quality and warranty. They support the Aftermarket Quality Manager in all areas needed and must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1) Returned and Defective Materials – Process customer and internal parts returns, interacting with customers, vendors, and internal personnel to ensure timely disposition and communication to meet customers’ needs. Provide Supply Chain reports regarding returned parts and analyze data and distribute to Product Management to assist in determining further potential actions.
2) Customer Feedback and CAR Process – Collect and analyze data to identify trends and root causes and generate or recommend corrective actions to support continuous improvement processes. Process Customer Feedbacks and CARs as assigned.
3) Work with the Quality department and any other offices or departments as necessary to develop reports or assist in activities involved with processing returns and warranty claims. Work with various departments and offices to generate CARs as needed and follow up on their implementation.
4) Assist the Aftermarket Quality Manager as needed in processing warranty claims and corrective actions or with any other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):
1) Minimum 2-year technical college degree or equivalent training
2) Proficient in creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

2) Communication – Must be able to effectively and respectfully communicate clearly to a wide range of people – including production personnel, customers, and team members.
3) Thoroughness – Ensure work and information is complete and accurate, carefully preparing for meetings and presentations, following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
4) Diagnostic information gathering – The ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources and use skillful questioning to draw out the information when others are reluctant to disclose.
5) Customer orientation – Able to demonstrate concern for satisfying ones’ internal and/or external customers.
6) Continuous improvement – Continuously improve process efficiency to exceed customer expectations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1) Ability to perform light work including the occasional exertion of 20 lbs. or less.
2) Moderate walking, standing and sitting.
3) Vision – Visual acuity is required to view a computer terminal and to analyze data
