Description
As the Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the commercial sales team, including the Key Account Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, developing and motivating your team, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the overall performance of the commercial sales department.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hires and trains regional and local field sales representatives and support staff.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of regional and local field sales representatives.
- Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
Sales Leadership:
- Provides leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team.
- Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met or exceeded.
- Reviews and analyzes sales and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
- Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to effectively direct sales efforts.
- Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Consults with potential customers to understand their needs and identify appropriate solutions.
- Suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet customer requirements.
- Resolves customer complaints and other issues that may interfere with sales operations.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
- Prepares and manages the sales budget.
- Represents the company at trade association meetings and industry events.
Additional Duties:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent sales leadership experience.
- At least three years of successful sales experience, preferably in a commercial sales environment.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating sales teams to achieve or exceed performance goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to various audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools.
- A passion for sales, a competitive spirit, and a drive for success.
Physical Demands with or without accommodations are not limited to:
- Ability to drive a vehicle with standard or automatic gear and enter and exit a truck or car.
- Ability to walk for periods of time in extreme temperatures including outdoors.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. may be required.
- Wears respirator according to OSHA requirements.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Ability to access confined spaces like crawlspaces and attics.
Pay:
- Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonuses
- Total Compensation Potential: $85,000 – $125,000 annually
