Application Expert (m/w/d) – Digital Manufacturing Integrations (API/WebAPI)

Are you an experienced Application Expert (m/f/d) and are you familiar with interface architectures and integrations? Then you are exactly the person we are looking for!

Your mission: Drive the planning, implementation, and operation of our SaaS Enterprise solution Shiftconnector® in the process industry forward.

• Conceptualization and design of seamless interface architectures between Shiftconnector® and ERP, Historian, and MES systems using API/WebAPI
• Analytical evaluation of existing system landscapes and development of integration strategies
• Ensuring smooth data flows considering system architectures
• Analytical optimization of data flows and ensuring the performance of API/WebAPI-based integrations
• Conceptualization and implementation of API management strategies for security and scalability
• Analytical support in interface projects and close collaboration with customers
• Systematic analysis and troubleshooting of complex technical challenges (API/WebAPI)
• Collaboration with software development to improve integrations and product innovations through analytical evaluation of system data
• Participation in the development and maintenance of API/WebAPI documentation and guidelines

• Experience with API/WebAPI technologies
• Knowledge in system integration and architecture
• Ability to conceptualize and implement interfaces
• Experience in analytical evaluation of system landscapes
• Ability to optimize data flows
• Knowledge in API management for security and scalability
• Experience in troubleshooting complex technical challenges
• Knowledge in DevOps practices
• Ability to work quality-oriented within a team and independently
• Fluent communication in German and English with customers is no problem for you

Nice to have:

• Experience with ERP, Historian and MES systems
• Knowledge of software development and project management
• Experience in creating and maintaining API documentation
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
