OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager, Clinical Operations & Outcomes is responsible for developing and managing dashboards, tools, and processes that support high-quality, data-driven clinical performance across the organization. Operating at the intersection of Clinical Affairs and Operational Strategy, this role brings structure and scale to clinical outcomes tracking, adherence monitoring, and field-facing accountability initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings operational discipline and an understanding of ophthalmic procedures, key drivers of clinical outcomes, and field-based clinical workflows. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure the collection and dissemination of actionable outcomes data—supporting field performance, procedural consistency, and scalable clinical growth.
This role ensures that RxSight's clinical outcomes infrastructure is robust, actionable, and integrated into field performance operations—advancing procedural excellence and long-term clinical success.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Outcomes Infrastructure
- Define, track, and manage key clinical KPIs (e.g., LDD adherence, visual outcomes, complaint/MDR rates).
- Build and maintain clinical dashboards and CRM modules (e.g., PowerBI) to promote outcomes visibility and accountability across HQ and field teams.
- Develop and oversee processes that ensure high-fidelity outcomes data input by customers and internal users.
Operational Integration & Escalation
- Support integration of complaint tracking systems into broader clinical performance infrastructure.
- Partner with relevant internal teams such as Medical Affairs and Commercial Operations to ensure accurate data triage and escalation protocols.
- Support closed-loop processes for clinical deviations from detection to field-level action.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales Operations to align clinical outcomes with field performance management.
- Work closely with Medical Affairs, clinical trainers, and field teams to drive adoption and use of dashboards and data tools.
- Support development of intervention protocols for underperforming clinical metrics and continuous improvement of clinical SOPs based on field insights and data trends.
Field Engagement & Reporting
- Deliver actionable clinical insights via CRM dashboards that promote procedural consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of tools through monitoring, feedback, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide outcomes trend data for internal reviews, strategic planning, and outcomes analyses.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Understanding of ophthalmic clinical workflows, particularly in refractive surgery, IOL-based procedures, and patient management.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to credibly engage with internal clinical team members and external MDs and ODs, if necessary.
- Proficiency in interpreting and contextualizing clinical outcomes data, including visual acuity, refractive accuracy, and LDD adherence.
- Skilled in CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, PowerBI); capable of building and tailoring tools for the clinical organization.
- Operational thinker with a proven ability to translate clinical trends into field-ready tools and scalable improvement programs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position will not have immediate supervisory responsibility but will be expected to lead by example in using role model behavior.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare-related field preferred.
- 2 years or more of experience in clinical operations, medical affairs, or complaint management within ophthalmic MedTech or biotech.
- Experience building operational workflows and field-facing clinical tools and dashboards.
- Familiarity working across Clinical Affairs and Field Operations functions.
- Six Sigma or process improvement training preferred.
- Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
- The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Hands-on clinical training or leadership experience in ophthalmic surgical or clinic environments (e.g., refractive clinic director, senior clinical trainer, surgical coordinator) is preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- MS Excel – Advanced
- PowerBI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Salesforce or other CRM
PERFORMANCE METRICS
- LDD data compliance rate
- Volume of medical affairs complaints & outcomes escalations
- Number and impact of dashboard-driven interventions
- Measurable improvement in clinical outcome trends
- Adoption and utilization of tools by field trainers and reps
