Lead DevOps Engineer (all genders)

Your role

Sunday Natural is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to become an in-house DevOps specialist supporting our high-performance eCommerce infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and scale a growing D2C wellness brand's technical operations, driving excellence across our development and production environments.

Your profile

• 8+ years in a DevOps, SRE or Cloud Architect role
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFront)
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools (ideally Bitbucket Pipelines etc.) and automation frameworks.
• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL optimization and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid hands-on programming skills with Python (Bash) to automate tasks and workflows.
• Administrate and optimise MySQL and PostrgeSQL databases.
• Good understanding of Linux-based systems (Ubuntu) and networking.
• Extensive experience working with Nginx and Vanish configurations.
• Great communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
• Ideally first teamlead experience

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and modern platform design.
• hands-on experience with PHP development and deployment processes.
