First Impression Specialist
Looking to be a part of a talented, compassionate and caring pediatric team? Urgent Care for Children is looking for First Impression Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized, and enjoys creating positive first experiences for patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients upon arrival, collect insurance and other necessary information
- Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately
- Provide exceptional customer service, both in-person and over the phone
- Offer patients snacks and drinks to ensure a welcoming environment
- Collect patient payments for co-pays and cash pay visits
- Follow Urgent Care for Children’s Patient Service Coordinator standard operating procedures
- Keep front desk and waiting areas clean and organized
- Provide support and guidance to patients and families during their visit
- Collaborate with the entire clinic team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in medical assisting, front office, or medical reception
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (E Clinical Works a plus)
- Experience with insurance verification, co-pays, and patient payments
- Must be willing to work evenings and at least two weekends per month
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Schedule:
Our clinics are open after hours and on weekends, with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Flexibility is key for this role.
Clinic Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 10:00a.m. - 8:00p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Subject to change based on company needs and training.
