Corporate Restructuring Analyst

SC&H Group is currently searching for an Analyst to join our growing Corporate Restructuring Practice in our Sparks, MD headquarters. The Analyst would be part of a Practice that serves a very diverse set of clients and you will be challenged, while having the opportunity to advance rapidly, all while enjoying a very strong work-life balance. You will be part of a team primarily consulting clients on reorganization, restructuring and liquidation matters. You will also be involved in a variety of accounting and financial restructuring engagements from forensic accounting to fraud investigation.

Work you’ll do:

• Building and updating financial models (e.g., 3-statement models, 13-week cash flow) to assess a company's financial health, project future performance, and analyze the feasibility of different restructuring options.
• Research and synthesize company, industry, and market information for reports and presentations.
• Assist in preparing pitch books, client presentations, and meeting materials.
• Coordinate and track financial and operational due diligence requests.
• Support transaction execution and negotiations with senior team members.
• Maintain organized project files, schedules, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related business field
• 0-3 years of experience (minimum GPA of 3.5 required for new graduates)
• Superior communication and writing skills with the desire to be part of a growing practice.
• Expert Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, integrated projections and financial statements) experience is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access is a plus.
• Big 4 Audit/Consulting, investment banking or corporate finance experience is preferred for experienced candidates.

Salary & Benefits

The expected annual base salary for this position is $65,000-80,000. Salary offers are made based on a variety of candidate specific factors such as candidate's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
