We’re looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of accounting experience who’s eager to broaden their skills and work in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, smooth month-end processes, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and process monthly journals and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and fixed asset records.
- Support credit card programs including verifying expenses against policy.
- Prepare data for tax-related and regulatory returns (e.g., GST, payroll tax, FBT)
- Support annual audit and external reporting requirements.
- Gather data to support Treasury and Insurance activities
- Participate in process improvement and project initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve finance-related queries.
YOUR SKILLS
- Degree qualified in Accounting/Commerce related
- 1–3 years’ experience in financial accounting or a related role.
- Progress towards CPA, CA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Experience with large ERP systems is highly regarded.
- Eager to learn, with a curious mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
