Animal Attendant - Greencross Chatswood

Company Description

Greencross Chatswood are looking for x2 Part-time Animal Attendants to be the dependable, extra set of hands for our nursing team!

Hours will split between the x2 Animal Attendants, we are open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:30pm, and Saturdays 8:30am - 5pm.

You will be passionate about animal care and wellbeing, aiding our nursing team by efficiently assisting with general patient care!

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the clinic throughout the day, including surgery and consult rooms
• Cleaning and resetting patient cages
• Feeding, walking, medicating patients
• Washing of patient laundry and dishes
• Assisting nurses and vets as required
• Reception duties if required

About you:

• Hold a Certificate II/III in Animal Studies or have previous experience in the animal care industry
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well on your own or with a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Calm, mature, empathetic 
• Availability to assist at our neighbour clinic, Greencross Roseville, from time to time
