As a Senior Creative Producer for the in-house Pattern brand creative team, you’ll lead video production efforts for Pattern’s internal design team, focusing on a wide range of project initiatives From product feature videos, high-end campaigns, event promotions, and partner case studies, you’ll ensure that every piece of content produced elevates our brand’s creative standards. You will take ownership of projects from ideation, stakeholder management, budget proposal, to final delivery. Managing internal resources and external partnerships to produce high-quality, innovative visual content. Your expertise in storytelling, production management, and the ability to manage complex workflows will be key to your success. Additionally you will identify strategic opportunities that are pivotal to data findings, and best practices to drive direction and conversion.

What is the day in the life of a Senior Creative Producer?
- Lead, strategize, and oversee video production for internal departments, ie: marketing, sales, product, and executive leadership teams including projects that range from, advertisements, brand campaigns, social content, and live events.
- Develop, manage, and execute video projects from concept to completion, ensuring creative goals are met within deadlines and budgets.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners during the production process, fostering effective communication and alignment.Collaborate closely with the Director of Video, Art Directors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure creative objectives and brand vision are achieved.
- Conduct pre-production planning including storyboarding, script development, shot lists, and production schedules.
- Manage all logistics of video production including equipment, location permits, talent booking, set design, and post-production.Lead location scouting, contract negotiation, and creative asset acquisition.
- Manage a network of freelancers, agencies, and other external partners, assessing portfolios, negotiating rates, and coordinating their contributions.
- Ensure compliance with legal, brand, and industry standards, overseeing rights management, copyright compliance, and talent agreements.
- Develop and maintain production budgets, tracking all expenses and optimizing resources efficiently.
- Identify emerging trends in video content production and implement new techniques and technologies that improve quality and efficiency.
- Analyze project performance, providing insights and suggestions for future improvement.
- Provide on-set leadership, managing day-to-day production activities and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure that all videos adhere to our brand guidelines and resonate with our target audiences.
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- 5+ years of experience in video or creative production, with a proven track record of leading large-scale brand campaigns and commercial productions.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in producing creative, high-quality video content across various formats.
- Proficiency in video production software and familiarity with emerging video technologies.
- Extensive experience in budget management, including resource allocation and cost control across multiple projects.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a meticulous focus on scheduling, task prioritization, and timely delivery.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and motivating teams, as well as coordinating with external vendors.
- Creative problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations.Excellent understanding of brand identity, audience engagement, and the principles of visual storytelling.
- In-depth knowledge of rights management, contracts, and talent agreements.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of balancing creative and operational needs.
- Well-connected within the local video production ecosystem, with access to key industry contacts (freelancers, agencies, locations, and talent).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 360-degree campaigns and multi-platform distribution (web, social media, streaming, etc.).
- Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and post-production workflows.Understanding of social media trends and their impact on video production.
- Proven ability to drive innovation in creative processes and adopt new technologies.
What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
- In the first 30 days:
- Familiarize yourself with all aspects of Pattern’s business and brand with a focus on understanding the people, processes, and interdependencies between finance and operations
- Grasp Pattern’s brand identity and target audienceBuild a strong relationship with direct reports; understand and review their work and provide direct feedback on their results
- Work with other project managers to build a relationship with each of them and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency
- Familiarize yourself with the project management software we use called Asana
- Make an immediate impact by taking on new and existing projects
- By day 60:
- You will have delivered your first few projects
- Begin taking on more projects
- Contribute to our network of freelancers for every role within production
- Start creating an analysis to make strategic recommendations related to production quality, efficiency, planning, reporting, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to build relationships with Pattern leadership and collaborate and connect the dots across creative, marketing, and finance
- Bring innovative ideas and creative solutions to enhance the storytelling or visual elements of the video content
- Within the first 90 days:
- You are owning all video related projects from start to finish
- Provide actionable suggestions on how to improve quality, processes, and automation to scale our work while keeping up quality
- Work effectively with interdepartmental stakeholders
- Assist in interviewing, hiring and onboarding new team members to build the strength of the video department team
- Regularly seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and the audience to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the video content
What is the team like?
- You will report to the Sr Project Manager and interface regularly with the Creative Director, Copy Writer, Creative and Marketing teams, CMO, and with executives from every department. You’ll also work collaboratively with everyone on the video team which is comprised of a Director of Video and Sr Cinematographer. Lastly, you’ll be involved in every video production that Pattern does to support the companies initiatives and strategy.
