Job Details:

Pay: $18.15/hr

SUMMARY:  Responsible for supplying production area with materials, loading and unloading trucks and stack, storing and tracking inventory as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsbilities:

• Unload and load trucks
• Supply production with combos, trays, boxes and plastic liners
• Follow forklift check out/in procedures
• Empty trash and recycle combo
• Turn in unload truck information to purchasing
• Keep the area clean
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to learn how to drive a hand pallet jack and forklift
• Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures 

Physical Requirements / Environment:

• Stand/Walk: Continuously (8 hrs or more)
• Lift/Carry:  Continuously (up to 40 pounds)
• Grasping: Frequently
• Physical Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery, working in a cold, damp environment (below 40° F)
• Other Physical Requirements:
• Occasionally: bend, squat, reach above shoulder (up to 1 ft.)

External Requirement: 6-month production and/or forklift experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).

Rehire Consideration:

• Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire.
• 90 days (3 months) waiting period.
