Restructuring & Insolvency Associate

Greenberg Traurig, LLP

Office

London, United Kingdom

Full Time

The Role:

This role requires a motivated and ambitious lawyer to work within the expanding Restructuring team in our London Office which is part of our European Restructuring Team based in London, Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam and Warsaw.

The Greenberg Global Restructuring team has recently been ranked in Global Restructuring Review's GRR Top 30, a ranking of the world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. GRR 30 profiles the top 30 “standout firms” based on deal size and the number of cross border elements in the deal. GRR itself described our entry into the Top 30 as a “rather stunning debut.”

We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 6 years PQE who has a mix of restructuring and insolvency experience.  Ideally this experience should include acting for administrators and liquidators, a working knowledge of schemes and Restructuring Plans, pre-packs and all aspects of restructuring and insolvency law.

This role is not for contentious or litigation lawyers as that side of the practice is adequately covered by our first class litigation team.

Greenberg Traurig is one of the largest law firms in the world and as a consequence the successful applicant will be involved in interacting not just with colleagues in our London based Finance team but also our global colleagues whose clients require UK support.
