What success looks like in this role:

• Handles bulk of UC Tier 2/3 support for incidents related to Unified Communications ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.

• Performs support as part of a three-member team across global time zones

• Evaluates Microsoft Teams policies and new features prior to implementation

• Ability to reproduce issues in test environment for validating solutions and escalations to vendors

• Evaluates Teams Devices firmware prior to global roll out

• Flexibility in researching and working in technologies and job assignments based on current team requirements outside of core UC work

• Implements solutions to manage and operate cloud directory and security governance

• Analyzes problem statements and provides feasible and optimal solutions

• Works with cross-functional technical colleagues to provide solutions, define best practices and enhance existing processes.

• Proactively investigates and solves issues independently and as part of a team

• Creates strategic outlines and plans and works on tactical steps to implement the strategies

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Proven core skills in Teams Unified Communications and Voice Technologies (SIP, RTP, VoIP, Direct Routing, Operator Connect and UC Application)

Proficient in Microsoft Entra and M365 Backend environment (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange) support

Proven exposure and knowledge of scripting (e.g. Powershell, Java, Bash)

Advanced level understanding of meeting room technologies (Cisco, Poly, Logi, Crestron) highly desirable.

Knowledge and exposure with SBC highly desirable
