We are looking for a Service Manager for Czech Republic & Slovakia to join our dynamic team! This role is home office based in Czech Republic or Slovakia and requires up to 60% travel to customers, the office in Brno and international meetings.
What you’ll do at Elekta
The Service Manager is responsible for the service business across the whole Elekta product portfolio within Czech Republic and Slovakia. The main role of the Service Manager is to lead a team of field service engineers to ensure that customers continue to receive an excellent service on all Elekta products by resolving all issues in a timely and effective manner, considering local regulations and Elekta policies. In addition, the service manager uses commercial skills and technical knowledge to drive revenue growth of the Elekta service business and provides support to the local sales team and order fulfillment team to ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the whole customer journey.
The Service manager's responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide the direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring of field service engineers in the assigned territory
- Ensure that all service activities are planned and executed with maximum efficiency and to the complete satisfaction of our customers
- Advance the professional development, professional conduct, service effectiveness and efficiency of staff. Track progress of service organization with global key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Perform regular on-site service management reviews with all customers in the assigned territory to evaluate Elekta's service performance
- Analyze customer feedback to transactional surveys and implement improvement actions whenever necessary to increase customer satisfaction
- Represent Elekta at local conferences, symposiums, user meetings and other events
- Provide expertise about Elekta products and services to support the local sales team during public tenders and other sales activities
- Identify and drive sales opportunities of the Service business across the whole Elekta product portfolio, to both the installed base of existing customers and new customers in collaboration with the local sales team
- Maintain a clear visibility of the service opportunity pipeline to secure in-time service orders
- Provide local support for the Order Fulfillment team during installation and upgrade projects to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with finance team to prepare financial budget plans and forecasts for the service organization
- Analyze financial performance of the service organization on a regular basis to ensure meeting financial targets for order intake, revenue and gross margin
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance of the service organization with Elekta internal policies and local regulations (e.g. radiation safety, electrical safety)
- Manage internal and external audits of the service organization including preparation, implementation and review
- Appointment as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) according to Atomic law in the assigned territory
- Manage the service and radiation safety registration and renewal process in the assigned territory with support of the backoffice team
- Ensure up-to-date customer contact and installed base information of Elekta products in our database
- Manage contracts with local 3rd party companies for spare parts and services

What you’ll bring
- University degree in a technical discipline.
- Electrical certificate to work as independent electrician and knowledge of Atomic Law / certification granted by State Office for Nuclear Safety is an advantage
- Proven experience with people management and team building
- Speaks/writes/reads Czech, Slovak and English fluently
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, CRM systems and business intelligence tools
- Willingness to travel up to 60% in the assigned territory and to international meetings
