About you and this role
We are seeking a Quality Manager to support our St. Charles Operations Ethoxylate Park (EXP). In this role, you will lead and manage technical processes that ensure product quality and compliance with customer and regulatory standards—without direct people management responsibilities. You’ll serve as a key resource and advisor across the manufacturing plant, providing training, coaching, and guidance to help teams understand and take ownership of quality. This position plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement, leading audits, and representing the voice of the customer. This position requires influential leadership to effectively engage and align cross-functional stakeholders, driving a strong quality culture and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Lead the site quality program which aligns to the Business Quality Strategy at the plant level.
- Provide an effective interface between customers, the organization and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent high-quality service to customers. Represents the “Voice of Customer” within the organization and across the business/division, as appropriate.
- Build and enhance cross-functional relationships, services and flow of information between the organization and the customer, and other key stakeholders related to the product quality/regulatory requirements related to the quality management system.
- Improve effectiveness of the quality management system, on a continual basis, and demonstrates influential leadership to execute improvement opportunities.
- Generate and use quality data to enable cross functional partners to drive product quality improvements.
- Identify and lead management of change reviews that potentially impact product quality across identified scope.
- Ensure plant Operating Discipline system, procedures and guidelines meet quality system requirements, as appropriate and serves as element focal point for the quality requirements of the Operating Discipline Management System.
- Provide expert training, guidance and consultation to the organization and other cross-functional roles that impact product quality on customer and product regulatory requirements, and the use of supporting quality tools and processes to achieve plant and business goals.
- Identify and lead product quality improvement opportunities and advanced problem-solving efforts with broader scopes and leveraging potential as determined through data analysis, customer feedback, continual improvement projects, and other quality-related programs.
- Establish and lead the organization’s quality system audit program and leads internal and third-party audits, in conjunction with Business or Site strategies, leveraging findings to drive continual improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a technical or science related field.
- A minimum of 6 or more years of quality and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) related experience.
- Travel requires an average of 25% of the time but could be required more often.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
- Knowledge or experience with SAP/ LIMS.
- Experience with product safety regulatory requirements and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), excipients, food, and cosmetics.
- Previous quality control or quality assurance experience.
- ISO 9001 experience.
- Experience in a variety of businesses and/or with a variety of products is highly preferred.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence across departments, acting as a consultant and trainer to enhance quality ownership at all levels.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on customer satisfaction, serving as the “Voice of the Customer” and ensuring product and regulatory requirements are met.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in analyzing quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and support change management initiatives.
- Change Management: Experience leading quality-related change reviews and managing the impact of changes on product quality.
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory standards and ability to ensure operating procedures align with quality system requirements.
- Communication & Coaching: Excellent communication skills to deliver training, provide guidance, and lead internal and third-party audits effectively.
