This position offers exposure to senior professionals and stakeholders across Hamilton Lane and provides an excellent opportunity for professional development in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will be to:  

  • Oversee Code of Ethics reviews and certifications.
  • Create, test, and update compliance procedures.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory reports, foreign licensing, and application filings.
  • Support preparations for SEC examinations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect audit documentation.
  • Review marketing and advertising materials for compliance with guidelines.
  • Oversee compliance review of investment allocation process.
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues.   
  • Respond to employee compliance queries, including personal account dealings, gifts, and entertainment queries.

Your background will include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and a least 3 years or compliance experience (OR equivalent, such as BIGLAW corporate paralegal experience).
  • Understanding of the financial services industry; private equity a plus.  
  • Proven communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability and eagerness to multitask.
  • Must be a proactive, self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity and demonstrated work ethic and initiative.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
