Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Maintain and grow the businesses with financial institution and pension fund clients:

  • Mainly cover mid-size clients initially
  • Gather useful information from clients and feed it back to the team.
  • Develop new businesses
  • Ensure solid operation in the existing businesses

Present the best of what Invesco can provide coworking with product and other teams:

  • Have good understandings of Invesco’s products, ranging from traditional assets to alternative, to be able to make initial/brief introductions to client
  • Collaborate with product or investment teams to provide client with detailed information about the product
  • Work closely with management / senior sales to build strong relationship with client as a firm

Develop professional skills to be able to assume more important roles in future:

  • Face various types of clients and broaden/deepen understandings of their businesses
  • Set ambitious but realistic sales targets and plans to contribute to the firm’s and achieve them
  • Learn about the whole business structure and important clients in the industry and for the firm to be able to handle them in future

Work Experience / Knowledge / Education / Formal Qualifications

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Around 10 years experiences in the financial industry, mainly in Asset Management related areas
  • Proven ability or strong potential to develop and manage relationships with pension funds and financial institutions
  • Successful track record in related sales jobs (AM pension sales / AM financial institution sales / Bank sales, etc) preferred

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Skills / Other Personal Attributes

  • Business level English skills (at least in reading and writing)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Strong network and understanding of the institutional asset management businesses a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently as a part of a collaborative team
