About the role - Mō te tūranga
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll lead all aspects of property strategy and operations for our 33 New Zealand sites. From strategic planning and lease negotiations to compliance, facilities management, and capital projects — you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our property network supports business performance and future growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the property strategy for our nationwide network.
- Managing lease negotiations, renewals, rent reviews, and landlord relationships.
- Undertaking facilities management, maintenance programs, and contractor performance.
- Ensuring compliance across BWOF, HSNO, and trade waste requirements.
- Delivering site acquisition, redevelopment, and disposal projects on time and budget.
- Driving cost control, value optimisation, and sustainability initiatives in property operations.
What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?
We’re looking for a commercially astute, hands-on property leader with proven experience managing complex, multi-site portfolios. You’ll combine strategic thinking with the ability to deliver on-the-ground results, working collaboratively with internal and external partners.
You’ll also bring:
- 15+ years’ experience in commercial property management (transport/logistics preferred).
- Strong knowledge of lease administration, facilities management, and NZ property legislation.
- Demonstrated success in delivering property projects and managing budgets.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Property, Facilities Management, or a related field.
