What you'll do:

Executes tests according to agreed instructions, including international and Electrolux internal standards. Sets up and prepares tests in terms of equipment, samples, area, materials, and any other conditions necessary to properly complete the evaluation. Undertakes assigned technical tasks of low complexity under the supervision of professional colleagues. Uses existing procedures to support the daily laboratory activities. Receives instructions, guidance, and direction from others. The Laboratory Specialist position may be preceded by a Lab Assistant entry point where new employees learn from colleagues and build up experience of our products and processes.

In detail, you will: 

• Prepares and executes laboratory activities related to the performance testing dishwashing machine.

• Actively participates in the development of new projects.

• Works autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement.

• Solves a range of straightforward to complex problems.

• Interacts with cross-functional teams, shares knowledge.

• Broadens competence in own area; still acquires higher level skills.

• Receives moderate guidance and direction in own area of knowledge.

• Prioritizes and organizes own work to deliver to agreed deadlines.

• Applies knowledge/skills to a variety of standard day to day activities.

• Identifies and solves problems in straightforward situations; generates possible solutions, analyzes each using standard procedures.

• Builds productive relationships within and outside of own team.

• Quality Management according to ISO/IEC 17025.

• Support Cost reduction and Quality improvement activities.

• Support Consumer Magazines activities.

• Cleaning & Drying Technology Laboratory facilities and equipment’s control.

Qualifications:

• High Vocational Certificate in Engineering

• 0-2 years’ experience in relevant experience, in International and National standard for household appliances (ISO/IEC 17025)

• Experience in EN/IEC 60436, EN 50242, AS/NZS 2007.1, AS/NZS 2007.2, GBT 20290, GB+ 38383, Consumer CHOICE, Consumer ICRT, IEC 60335-2-11.

• Knowledge of Products Knowledge, Dishwasher Functionality, ISO/IEC 17025, PPM & Basic Microsoft Project, International/National standard of Dishwasher Product, Test Equipment and Data Acquisition. Product Safety, and Product Certification

• Good problem solving, judgement & decision making, and interpersonal skills

• Good command of English
