Primary Function:

The Senior Manager will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of logistics, with a focus on shipping and distribution activities. This role entails managing shipment planning and execution, driving performance optimization, and spearheading continuous process improvements. The manager will also ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Serving as a central point of coordination between internal teams and external partners, they will lead logistics strategy, resolve operational challenges, and develop team capabilities to meet departmental objectives and elevate customer service standards.
 

Educational Background: Graduate of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Science, Business or Operations or any related field (Master’s degree in Business or Management is a plus)

Experience: Must have a minimum of 5-years work experience in a semiconductor and electronics manufacturing and logistics industry

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

·   Strategic Logistics Oversight. Develop and implement logistics strategies to support company-wide initiatives. Manage and delegate work effectively to meet departmental objectives. Coordinate logistics alignment and collaboration with global HQ and ADI counterparts.

·   Process Improvement & Performance Monitoring. Drive continuous improvement projects targeting logistics workflows, systems, and KPIs. Review and approve CAPA submitted by forwarders, ensuring robust issue resolution.

·   Collaboration & Relationship Management. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with external service providers to ensure consistent service levels.

·   Compliance & Corporate Responsibility. Uphold the company's environmental management, health, and safety standards. Promote adherence to quality and environmental policies across logistics operations.

·   Data Analysis & Decision Support. Provide analytical support for decision-making across logistics projects. Solve complex issues related to shipping and logistics, using data-driven insights

·   Team Leadership. Recruit, develop, and retain skilled professionals for various logistics roles. Provide mentorship and oversight to build a high-performing logistics team
