POSITION SPECIFICS

The Bryce Jordan Center seeks a Marketing Strategist who is a digitally skilled, data-informed communicator responsible for driving audience engagement and ticket sales through targeted campaign execution, content creation, and market research. This position plays a central role in the Bryce Jordan Center’s event marketing efforts, leveraging tools like Meta Ads Manager, TM1, and audience data to inform strategy, measure results, and enhance campaign effectiveness.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and collaborating with other senior leadership, the position works independently and exercises sound judgment to lead tactical marketing execution across digital and traditional platforms. It also co-supervises a team of college marketing interns, guiding content development and digital engagement efforts.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who brings a strong digital skillset and creative sensibility to a fast-paced live event environment. The position offers opportunities to grow professionally while helping elevate the profile and performance of one of Penn State’s most prominent venues.

Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, event marketing, or content creation (venue or live event setting will be given priority consideration)
  • Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Canva, and email marketing tools; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $61,800.00 - $89,600.00.
