JOB DESCRIPTION:

This exciting role is based in our Maidenhead office within the EMEA Nutrition division (ANI). At Abbott, we develop science-based nutrition products that support people at every stage of life—from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adults strong and active. Our trusted brands include Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, Glucerna®, and ZonePerfect®.

We’re hiring a visionary and commercially astute Head of EMEA Retail and eCommerce Centre of Excellence to lead a $500M+ portfolio across offline and digital channels. This high-impact leadership role will shape and execute commercial strategies across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and emerging global markets, with a mandate to double revenue and elevate sales excellence across the region.

What You’ll Do

Lead and design regional commercial strategies and sales excellence initiatives
Drive customer-centric excellence through joint business planning and retail execution
Implement revenue growth management strategies including pricing and ROI-based investment planning
Optimise distributor and merchandiser performance using data and KPIs
Accelerate growth through market expansion and innovation launches
Spearhead eCommerce and omnichannel excellence across high-potential markets
Represent EMEA in global commercial excellence workstreams
Lead strategic projects and provide hands-on support to local markets
Establish and manage performance KPIs and deploy targeted interventions

Required Qualifications/Experience

Experience in retail, eCommerce, or commercial leadership roles
Proven success in developing and executing impactful commercial strategies
Deep understanding of digital commerce and scalable retail operations
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
Experience in healthcare, nutrition, or FMCG sectors preferred
Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership style
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
Strong project management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
Proficiency in business tools and analytics platforms (Excel, Power BI, CRM systems)
