is now looking to employ a motivated professional for the position of
TAX SPECIALIST
part of our Tax Department at Villeroy & Boch AG
We are looking for a skilled Tax Specialist to join our dynamic tax team and ensure compliance with tax regulations, optimize tax strategies, and contribute to our overall financial health.
Your tasks:
- Tax Compliance Management: Support for CMS controls and adjustments.
- Intrastat Reporting: Prepare data and declarations.
- Transfer Pricing Documentation: Assist with data preparation, coordination with local tax advisors on specific local requirements.
- Tax Audits: Support with data/document research.
- VAT Compliance: Process and clarify inquiries in the context of the monthly and annual VAT return preparation; coordinate these topics with accounting, tax advisors and, if necessary, HQ Tax.
- Tax Refunds: Manage applications for excess withholding tax refunds.
- Tax Reporting: Support Q2, October hard close, and year-end tax reporting.
- Wage Tax Management:
- Monthly tasks (e.g., company car allowances).
- Assist with A1 certificates.
Your profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, or consulting, preferably in a multinational company or a tax consultancy firm with international clients.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of tax law and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Fluent in English and ideally can also communicate in German and/or French.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or other tax certification.
- Experience in production industry.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP system.
