Grimaldi’s is seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our Restaurant Support Center in Scottsdale, AZ.
We’re looking for someone who understands that social media is more than just content - it’s a powerful tool for storytelling and brand building. You’re a marketer and creator first: someone who loves developing content that moves the needle, connects with people, and makes a brand stand out.
You’re energized by trends and are constantly asking, “How can this perform better?” You thrive on collaboration, but you can run with an idea solo from concept to execution. And if you happen to love pizza, even better! Experience working with a restaurant, multi-location business or food brand is a strong plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Understand the business value of social media and how it fits strategically into a marketing plan
- Manage and evolve short- and long-term content plans and campaigns
- Help set and align social media goals with brand and business objectives
- Recommend new platform opportunities and assess emerging trends
Content Creation & Execution
- Brainstorm and develop creative social content ideas
- Create monthly content calendars for all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Plan, oversee, and execute photo and video shoots
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for posts and captions
- Edit short- and long-form videos for various platforms
- Create, curate, and repurpose a variety of content including user-generated content (UGC)
- Create and schedule posts within a social content management system
- Stay on trend with social media formats, styles, and cultural moments
- Schedule, post, and test content across platforms
- Ensure high-quality visual execution with strong video and photo editing skills
Influencer & Community Engagement
- Find, vet, negotiate, and coordinate influencer partnerships
- Measure and report on influencer effectiveness
- Manage community engagement: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions
- Build relationships and act as the authentic voice of the brand
- Support customer service inquiries that come through social media and other channels
Reporting, Optimization, and More
- Create and update monthly social performance reports
- Analyze metrics and campaign results to optimize future content
- Manage social media advertising and assist with Meta and TikTok ad campaigns
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors
- Manage the social media budget
- Contribute to swag creation for giveaways and campaigns
About You
- College Degree is required. Marketing or Graphic Design Degree preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience managing social media for a brand; ideally in food, beverage, or hospitality (preferred, not required)
- Creative spirit and content-first mindset
- Skilled in social video and photo creation, editing, and publishing
- Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
- Familiar with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Insights)
- Knowledge of paid media, especially Meta and TikTok Ads
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Passionate about brand-building and pizza
