Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Welding program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Welding courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. 

Qualifications

• Completion of a Welding program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree preferred
• Certification:
  • Certified Welder (CW)
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) - not required but desired
  • Certified Welding Educator (CWE) - not required but desired
• At least three years of experience as a Certified Welder
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
