Accountant,Treasury

The Accountant, Treasury Operations is responsible for day-to-day activity relating to treasury operations, cash accounting, claims subrogation processing and account reconciliations.  The Accountant will support the Treasury Manager primarily by processing subrogation recoveries and reconciling cash transactions between our operating systems and our ERP system.  The candidate may also assist in various Finance and Treasury projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and review accounting journal entries and ledger account reconciliations
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Use the Company’s Treasury Management system, ERP system and various banking portals
• Process daily subrogation transactions in ClaimsPro and various Financial applications
• Participate in the implementation of current and future Treasury and Finance systems
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
  • 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
  •  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, etc.

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $56,000 to $76,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
