We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team to deliver end-to-end recruitment across our lower north island business, this role is based at our Petone office. A day in this role involves everything from actively source candidates for roles, and following through from job brief to onboarding, whilst ensuring that candidate and customer experience is always top of mind. You'll have a natural ability to become a trusted advisor to both the business and the team. You'll do this by getting to know managers across the business and working with them to have a plan of action on how to successfully resource their teams.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Work alongside community partners and schools to promote careers within industry and attend career expos and events
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring initiatives and future growth

  • We're looking for someone with:
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in end-to-end recruitment either agency or in-house is preferable
  • Experience with proactive talent sourcing using various channels and talent pooling
  • A track record of success when it comes to collaborating and working alongside internal and external customers and partners and placing the right people into the right roles
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong technical skills and quick learner with new systems and processes
  • Ability to adapt and manage shifting workloads and priorities
  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Construction or civil recruitment experience is desirable
  • Creating, Connecting and caring for the community
