About the position

As a manager in the Operations team in Zhuhai plant, you will be responsible for the supporting activities related to the production operations for Zhuhai Operations, and distribution of products owned by Shenzhen trading company. Provides materials, equipment and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing and distribution services, supervising staff.

Your main responsibilities

•Upholds receiving, warehousing, and distribution center by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
•Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, an inventory control system capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts, and taking corrective action to guard against future inventory discrepancies
•Maintain and improve upon current cycle count program, driving accountability to the key contributors that contribute to inventory discrepancies
•Attain inventory accuracy goal of 99% or better, as measured during yearly physical inventory and cycle count program
•Complies with national and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising General Manager on needed actions
•Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repairs and requisition for replacement
•Manages warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees
•Develop and manage KPI’s for warehouse management team
•Develop and/or improve training materials and effectively delivery those materials in a team environment, ensuring that team members are thoroughly trained through standard work and know how to perform their specific job functions
•Incorporate company vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guide and motivate others to remain committed to the Dometic Way
•Collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers to resolve discrepancies related to receiving, put-away, or shipping
•Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, through Kaizen events or programs for process improvements
•Ensure safety through basic housekeeping and warehousing best practices

To be sucessful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields required; Lean Sigma certification is a plus
• Minimum of five (5) years warehouse management or supply chain management required
• Ability to effectively communicate through both through verbal and written communication; solid presentation skills necessary

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• must have the ability to work under pressure and within deadlines both independently and within a cross-functional team environment
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work under pressure, within deadlines, and possess the ability to problem solve complex situations, be resourceful, and use independent judgment
• Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP/MPS systems, and their use in a manufacturing environment (Microsoft AX experience beneficial).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with ISO-9000 requirements
• Must have good interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills
